About the Diploma aggregation service

Diplomas are component-based qualifications that require a means of sharing relevant information on learners and their achievements between centres and awarding bodies.  QCA has been leading the project (Minerva) to deliver the Diploma aggregation service, a managed IT system to support the awarding of the Diploma qualification.  The Diploma aggregation service (DAS) will be used by centres and awarding bodies involved in Diplomas, and representatives from both communities have been working closely with the project to support its development.

The purpose of this site is to:

* Share more detailed information on DAS with potential users and systems integrators
* Communicate news of what’s happening on the Minerva project
* Provide answers to frequently asked questions

Guidance and more detailed documentation is available via the Project Documents page for anyone who is involved in the administration of Diplomas or who may be looking to integrate existing MIS with the DAS.  (Please note that access to this information is subject to a Participation Agreement being in place between your organisation and QCA.)
